Louisiana artist R. C. Davis (Richard “Chris” Davis) is a regional painter from Amite, LA, known for colorful, nostalgic scenes of rural life, small towns, and the Louisiana marshes. His work draws on his childhood experiences with local farms, bayous, and coastal trips, giving his paintings a warm “old Louisiana” feel that appeals to collectors of Southern and folk‑style art, perfect for this beautiful historic Louisiana plantation.

This RC David print of Oak Alley presents in great shape. The print shows no fading or imperfections. It is possible it is numbered but I see no sign of it and I am not willing to take apart the frame, as such it will be sold as an unsigned work. The matting is professional done and cleverly executed with a stepped reveal. The ornate frame is gorgeous but does show a couple of mends. They are not the most immediately noticeable as the color matching is near perfect. Measures 38 and 1/2 in by 29 in so expect a relatively large wall coverage. The print is astoundingly lifelike and presents almost as if photography showcasing RC Davis talent excellently.

Location: Ascension parish but frequent Baton Rouge.
