REDUCED PRICE: OLD MAP BONANZA Recovered from S. Louisiana Home!
Offered here are Twenty (20) ORIGINAL suitable-for-framing U.S. Dept. of the Commerce National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) Coastal Sounding Maps from 1992 depicting a long coastal journey from MAINE, down the Atlantic Coast past New York, Virginia, the Carolinas, down to Miami and into the Gulf -- then from Louisiana, on past Galveston and onward to the Rio Grande U.S.-Mexico Border. HUGE trove of 20 BIG NOAA maps which are lovely and would make wonderful maritime displays. But, these are heavy-duty maps meant to be used in real-world boat pilothouses while underway and at-sea.
These are NOT REPRINTS OR REPRODUCTIONS but are colorful maps actually issued in 1992 from world geodetic survey info compiled from 1983-1992. They are incredibly interesting representations of a splendid swath of America's coastlines, from Main to Galveston and beyond. They are NOT on "thin" map paper either -- they are on very thick vellum which is lovely and sturdy.
HUGE MAP SIZE: Almost every map is 3 feet x 4 feet --- Scales on the maps vary depending upon topography (See pictures. GREAT FOR FRAMING AND DISPLAY.)
All in excellent condition for their age -- they were stored in an environmentally controlled environment for over 25 years. VERY hard to find for all of the 1992 coastline areas depicted here.
