MEASUREMENTS and DETAILS:
This 2-piece wedding chest is striking with its base and brass accent features, all as noted in the pictures. It has very appealing proportions:
12" Deep x 19.5" High x 20.5" Wide
This special tradition-piece -- made at some point after WWII, but before 1960 - - speaks to the Korean wedding tradition of gifts to the bride, delivered within the chest by the groom's family at various times prior to the wedding. The 2 cabinet doors all work as they should and the interior is covered with lovely oriental inscriptions. It is from a Baton Rouge Estate and is 100% authentic, with all original hardware intact -- ALL complete and right.
The photos are provided to demonstrate the condition of this desired accent piece, which has the marks of that service BUT is still absolutely SOLID IN EVERY RESPECT. We have removed the contents, dusted it off inside and out but have not otherwise tried to clean it.
