This wonderful piece is an all-original gorgeous walnut "stretcher-base" library or sofa table with unmistakeable Chippendale styling. The piece is 100% authentic, with an intact, original working slide feature w/ storage, original carved and brass accents -- ALL complete and right. The table is designed to open into a larger table, when needed -- all hand-crafted and carved. It is all totally original and correct but no makers mark I can see. The construction is very solid. This is NOT a cheap "knock-off."
