REDUCED PRICE: OLD MAP BONANZA Recovered from S. Louisiana Home!
Offered here are a pair of ORIGINAL Louisiana State Board of Engineers-Approved U.S. Dept. of the Interior Geologic Survey Quadrangle Maps from 1954. These are NOT REPRINTS OR REPRODUCTIONS but are maps actually issued during the '50's from contemporaneous field examinations by LA State Engineers and using 1930's-era surveys as well as U.S. aerial photography compiled from 1927 Air Corps data. THIS is what you needed before GPS and are very interesting representations of Louisiana's land areas and waterways BEFORE all our coastal erosion.
NOTE: The Moss Lake Quadrangle is published under the name of LA's Chief Engineer, Harry Jacobs, and is marked "Advance Sheet. Subject to correction." This is a RARELY SEEN ANNOTATION.
