Get Started in Beekeeping this year!! Don't Wait!!
RESERVE your BEES and mark your calendar for March 11th 2017

Attend our Introduction to Bees class, and get your own Nucleus Hive to take home and start Beekeeping. By the end of Summer you should be pulling off you own golden delicious Honey.
Beekeeping is an excellent hobby for any age. Young children can learn about nature, and how to take responsibility for livestock. It's a great for retirees to keep the mind and body active. Not to mention that the health benefits of honey are countless.

The best time to get started in beekeeping, and likely the only time during the year, is early spring. Once all the available hives are reserved, you will just have to wait another full year to get started. You have to act soon if you want to get started this year. Give us a call to reserve your spot.

Come learn from folks with over 100 years combined experience in beekeeping. They make so much honey they haul it by the 18 wheeler load. This family has been in the beekeeping business for multiple generations.
As with everything, Education always costs somebody something, and they have spent a fortune learning the proper techniques to be successful in the beekeeping business. You can waste your time in books, and on the internet; or you can get real word experience from the people who know how its done. We want your beekeeping experience to be as successful as possible so you can brag to your friends about how much honey your bees made. Kinda like fishing, But you won't just have a fish tale; you will have the best tasting, freshest honey you have ever put in your mouth.

You will need to bring your bee suit, smoker, and hive tool as this will be a Hands On experience. Learn the difference between a Queen, and a Drone. Find out how to handle a brood comb full of bees without being afraid. See what a queen cell looks like. What's the difference between COMB honey and CREAMED honey? Why does honey come in so many different colors? Experience what a STRONG hive looks like. And you'll learn that you don't need an $800 Flow hive.

I have personally been to beekeeping classes that costs me much more money than this, and the organizer didn't even have 10 strong hives to work from. THIS class WILL NOT disappoint! There will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 300 colonies of bees on the premises to work from.
Do your due diligence and you will find that it is best to start with at least two hives. If for some reason one is not doing well, you can use the strong hive to help boost the weak one. This is one simple example of how the education you will gain will prove itself invaluable.

Class will be held in Poplarville, MS on Saturday March 11, 2017. We will begin around 8:00 am and should be done by 1:00 pm. Registration is $175 which includes half day class and your own 5-frame Nuc of Bees to take home. You can purchase additional Nucleus hives for $125 at the class.

This will be an experience you won't forget.

We had the class for the first time last year and it was a great time. In spite of the massive rainstorm and flooding that occurred the weekend of March 12, we had over an amazing response.
