REDUCED GROUP Sales Price: $40 for ALL THREE PIECES -- No PayPal payments or checks. Please don't ask. The Buyer will appear in person and pay in CASH ONLY.

3 Commemorative and souvenir plates from a TWO SEPARATE famous World's Fairs in the USA -- INCLUDING The 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis and the 1939 World's Fair in New York. As noted in the pictures, all of these commemorative pieces are properly marked and "right These were mostly found within reclaimed out-buildings at Neville Plantation in Port Hudson, which I own.

These are ALL 100% original and correct. I have dusted them off but none needed any special attention. There are no signs of cracks, chips or deterioration on ANY of these items, beyond the dust and dirt you would expect to see in plates of this age stored in environmentally uncontrolled areas. We are trying to gradually list all of the stuff found during the reclaiming projects over the years, but there is a bunch of stuff and I only get to these listings every now and then.

MEASUREMENTS: The trays are all photographed with an 18" ruler to show dimensions. The plates vary in size from 7" in diameter in the intricate glass 1904 St. Louis tray, to 4 ½" for the NY World's Fair brass ashtray and down to 3 1/3" for the little "Palace of Manufacturing" souvenir from the 1904 Fair in St. Louis. If you have any specific questions about any specific plate, please let me know. 100% all original.

INSCRIPTIONS: See the pictures, but the little tray is a striking 2-tone brass thingamajig with the Palace of Manufacturing shown in relief on the inside of the tray. As noted earlier, the inscription on the reverse says PALACE OF MANUFACTURING THE WORLDS FAIR ST. LOUIS 1904

The glass tray with the intricate interwoven glass bands is VERY striking and is marked: WORLDS FAIR ST. LOUIS 1904 FESTIVAL HALL AND CASCADE GARDENS

The final piece if a brass ashtray from the 1969 World's Fair in NY and reads: NEW YORK WORLDS FAIR 1939
VERY COLLECTIBLE pieces with a lot of verifiable age to them, particularly the glass 1904 piece. How it survived for 111 years without ANY chipping or glass damage is really amazing, so, this piece is a keeper, for sure. I have no guess at the other history of this collection of Fair items but the dates on the trays peg the age with specificity.
