Ive put some heavy amps on it many times and had no problems, for added piece of mind each shelf is reenforced with metal tube frame arms and the glass shelves rest on them with little rubber dot bumpers. The amp resting on a shelf in one of the pictures is 38 lbs but I have seated a Luxman power amp on the bottom shelf at a weight of 58lbs. The monster LED strips connect to your phone via wifi set up and allow you to change colors and create scenes from the listening seat. They can also blink in time with the music and change colors while doing so. The ample breathing room offered by the robust shelf height clearance is great for temp control. Ive downsized and put the components I want to keep in my system on a tv stand and decided I dont want to break down this stand and store it away. I live in prairieville and prefer it to be picked up from here and highly suggest using a pick up truck as to not have to disassemble it all the way down. The glass comes off without the need for tools.
