We are looking for a responsible sub-contractor to transport, deliver, and install dishwashers, OTR microwaves, wall ovens, and gas ranges promptly and efficiently to our customers.
Must have your own cargo van, small box truck or cargo van, or trailer; and be insured, licensed, and bonded. MUST HAVE LOUISIANA STATE HOME IMPROVEMENT LICENSE!!! MUST BE ABLE TO PASS CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRIVING HISTORY BACKGROUND CHECK!!!!
Responsibilities:
Appliance installation. This is a part-time position in the metropolitan Baton Rouge/Gonzales & Lafayette areas, which entails working early morning and evening hours, with availability Tuesday through Saturday installing appliances in homes. Estimated job volume is 10 - 12 jobs per week. YOU MUST HAVE A WORKING CELLPHONE AND/OR TABLET THAT CAN DOWN LOAD AND CONTINUOUSLY COMMUNICATE WITH STAFF AND CUSTOMERS VIA OUR APP. You will make sure you have all tools, supplies, and components needed for the scope of work are on your truck or van. You can lift at least 60 pounds with ease and follow all safety guidelines. You will load and unload the truck efficiently without causing damage to property or merchandise. You will load, unload, move, unbox, and install appliances. You will show up to work on time, be clean, and professionally and courteously communicate with our staff and customers.
Skills:
Proven working experience as an appliance installer.
Valid professional driver’s license
Good driving record with no DUI's or DWI'S
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Follow routes and time schedules
Complete logs and reports
