Please go to the link above and sign.. Louisiana has one of the highest incarceration rates in the nation, yet no clear process for early release based on rehabilitation. This petition calls for a Clemency Fast-Track Program that allows incarcerated individuals who have shown genuine change to be fairly reconsidered for release, regardless of whether they took a plea or went to trial. Other states like Connecticut, New Jersey, and Minnesota have proven that compassionate, evidence-based reform works. It’s time for Louisiana to recognize redemption and reunite families.
