An uninhibited gear lubricant designed for API Service Classification: GL-1. These gear oils are blended from highly refined base stocks that resist oxidation and thickening. Recommended for manual transmission in cars, trucks and other equipment where API Service Level GL-1 Lubricant is specified.
GL1 is the lowest level of performance and is only used in vintage transmissions. It is very similar to engine oil, having a very low additive content, but is available in much higher (thicker) viscosities to suit gearboxes with unsophisticated oil seals.
