I'm a full-time employee looking for a suitable roommate to rent a room in my townhouse. I stay pretty focused on work and keeping things organized, so I'm hoping to find someone with a similar mindset.
The place is a three-level townhouse that's been updated and is in good shape. There are three rooms upstairs and one of them is available. The area is comfortable and convenient - bus accessible if you use public transportation, which makes getting around pretty easy.
You'll have general shared access to the common areas of the house. Services are covered, so you don't need to worry about setting up utilities separately. Street parking is available for your vehicle.
A few important things upfront so there's no confusion later:
- No dogs allowed. If you have a cat, that's fine but it needs to stay in your room only.
- No smoking. This is non-negotiable.
- Students are welcome to apply as long as you meet the other requirements.
Here's the big one - ONLY people who clean up after themselves should apply. I can't stress this enough. I work full time and keep the house clean, and I need a roommate who does the same. If you're the type to leave dishes in the sink for days, don't pick up after yourself, or let your stuff spread all over the common areas, this isn't going to work out. I'm not trying to be harsh, just being honest about what I'm looking for.
I'm a pretty straightforward person. I work, come home, do my thing, and keep to myself mostly. Not looking for a best friend or anything, just someone responsible who respects the space and takes care of their part. If that sounds like you, we'd probably get along fine.
The townhouse itself is in a decent location with easy access to what you need. It's comfortable and functional, nothing fancy but well maintained.
IMPORTANT: Include your phone number in your response, or we can't reach you for that stat consult... err, house tour!
Just remember - I'm serious about the cleanliness thing. If you're clean, responsible, and respectful, let's talk. If not, please save us both the time. Thanks for reading!
