SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY!! Note: I have posted this ad before, but wasn't really motivated to sell, however I am ready now.
1984 Fleetwood Tioga RV with a Chevy G30 Cutaway 350 5.7L automatic engine with 93K miles on it. Title Status is "Clean"
The RV is 23 ft. long and does need some work done on it. It comes with a JD 4000 Generator that is bolted down to the rack on the back of it to prevent it from being stolen. It sleeps 6, has a Refrigerator, Freezer, 4 burner Stove, Microwave, double sink, A/C, heater, shower and storage compartments. I have not used it for a while, but when it was last used everything worked just fine. It also has an awning on both sides.
I have done a lot of repairs so far, but no longer want to put any additional work into it so am selling it for an RV enthusiast who desires to do so. The roof has a leak that I believe is coming from the antenna area, along with the back vents so it does have some water damage to the inside, but is very livable and clean inside. I currently keep it covered with heavy duty tarps to prevent additional damage.
The RV has been started monthly and it runs great when running, however it won't start up right now. I just installed a new ignition switch and Neutral Safety Switch. It cranked right up after installing the Ignition Switch, for a few months, but now when I attempt to start it up, the dash lights come on, but nothing else, no click or start. It was running great until then. I am thinking that it may be the starter, but am not up to doing anymore mechanical repairs. It has had a lot put into it and I just am ready to pass it on to someone who can use it. The battery in is new and comes with a 3 years warranty, of which I keep it on a battery maintainer for now.
The following has been replaced on the RV to date:
New Rebuilt Carburetor
New Brake light switch
New Ignition Switch
New Neutral Safety Switch
Rebuilt Brake Master Cylinder
New Battery
AC Blower motor
Gas Tank
Gas Line
Fuel Line
Fuel Pump and filter
Fuel Tank sending unit
Spark Plugs
Exhaust Manifold
Holly electric Fuel pump and filter
Locking gas cap with key
I am selling it because it's just time for me to let it go even though I had plans to renew it to my personal taste, I have decided to let it go. I keep fuel stabilizer in the gas tank and add PRI to it in order to keep the gasoline fresh as possible. I will post pics but the outside will be posted with the tarps on it because I am not removing the tarps to do pics. I have included 2 pics of the water damage that is above the double bed area, which does slide in and out to open it up over the driving area. It is a bit hard to capture it on camera. Otherwise, I keep it pretty clean inside.
For anyone interested in looking at it or have any questions, please contact me. Asking $2300 OBO.
NOTE: Please do not come by to have me give it away, like so many have attempted to do. I am not giving it away, but don't be afraid to make me an offer either. I know that the fix is minor and it runs great when running. I have put a lot of new parts into this RV and is in very good condition on the inside for it's age. They made RV's solid back then, with steel posts running across the roof rather than wood. If you are serious or interested, please email me.
